The Embodied Life™ Classes


Wondering how to live a life where you don’t miss anything in the world and don’t lose yourself?

I was too. Then I discovered the work of Russell Delman. Through the combination of practices in his Embodied Life program, I have learned to tap my ability to be present in the world with others and with myself. I want to share how to achieve that with you.

The four practices we will be developing in the embodied classes I now offer are:

Embodied Sitting – Learn to sit with an atmosphere of openness and kindness as you bring presence to the thoughts, feelings and sensations that arise from moment to moment.

Embodied Movement – Soften your body and change your nervous system through simple movements based on the work of Moshe Feldenkrais. By shifting your habitual way of being in your body, you’ll decrease physical pain, and discover new ways to approach mind, body and spirit.

Guided Inquiry – Begin to deeply listen to your body and free yourself from unhelpful states through this study of our habits, belief structures and inner communication patterns. This exploration of sensation, feelings, life stories and images supports you to be more alive and present to all of life.

Embodied Communication – Develop inner and outer listening and speaking skills based on empathy to deepen and ease your relationship with yourself and others. Based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg.

Classes will include partner practice, group sharing, short talks and discussions.
